WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Abbey Party Rents is looking for a passionate team player who excels in multi-tasking and is a quick learner in a fast-paced environment. Must have qualities are a positive self-starter who can work independently and quickly turn around client requests while providing in-depth product knowledge and maintaining a friendly and professional mannerism. Ideally, this person has experience in event rental sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES


- Greet customers in a professional manner over the phone, in person, and via email
- Assist in answering a heavy volume of incoming calls from a multi-line telephone system and transferring to correct personnel when needed
- Preparing and generating proposals from start to finish while helping client determine which products will best suit their needs & budget
- Meet with customers in person in the showroom to answer questions, help design table settings & show rental products to help the client determine what best meets their needs; potential for off-site visits depending on client need
- Assisting will-call picks ups and returns as needed
- Assisting other inside/outside sales associates as needed
- Collecting and processing payments in a timely manner
- Achieving annual sales quotas
- Adheres to all company rules & regulations

SKILLS


- Previous event rental company experience highly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral communication and written skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player with a friendly & positive attitude
- Problem-solving ability
- Excellent telephone etiquette

JOB TYPE


- Full-Time
- Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm, (1) hour lunch
- Once the pandemic is over, possibility to go back to adding every other Saturday at overtime payrate

BENEFITS AFTER 90 DAYS


- Mileage Reimbursement: .545 cents per mile for company-related travel in your personal vehicle
- Vacation: Team members will earn 3.077 hours of paid vacation for each full pay period of employment after the first 90 days

- Employer pays 100% of the basic premiums for the employee only

PAY


$17-20 per hour plus commission after 90 days


*Not remote, must work from 411 Allan Street location
