Fulcrum is looking for a passionate team player who excels in multi-tasking, is a quick learner, and enjoys a fast-paced environment with a high call volume. Must have qualities are a positive self-starter who can work independently and quickly greet customers on the phone while providing product knowledge and maintaining a friendly and professional mannerism. Ideally, this person has experience in the events industry and a passion for events.


  • Act as a face of the company for first interactions with clients, including phone, in person, and via email

  • Assist in answering a heavy volume of incoming calls from a multi-line telephone system and transferring to correct team member when needed

  • Prepare quotes while helping your clients determine the products that will best suit their needs and budget

  • Meet with customers and their planners in the showroom to answer questions and assist with designing their events; potential for off-site visits depending on client needs

  • Assist with will-call picks ups and returns as needed

  • Assist other sales team members as needed

  • Collect and process payments in a timely manner

  • Achieve annual sales quotas

  • Attend industry events as a representative of the company

  • Participate in styled photoshoots

  • Light social media marketing

  • Adhere to all company rules & regulations

  • Other Duties: Your managers may request other tasks and projects as-needed

  • Full-Time

  • Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm; (1) hour lunch

  • $17.00 - $21.00 per hour plus commission after 60-days (salary heavily based on commission)


  • Travel and Telephone Reimbursements: You will be compensated for company-related travel in your personal vehicle when you start doing site visits and attending industry events. You will receive $50 per month for use of your personal cell phone for company-related calls.

  • Vacation: Team members earn 3.077 hours of paid vacation for each full pay period of employment after the first 90 days

  • Health & Dental for the employee (Eligible after 90 days); employer pays 100% of the basic premiums for the employee only

  • Upgraded plans are available at the employee’s expense

  • Dependent coverage is available at the employee’s expense

  • Flexible Spending Account (Eligible after 90 days)

*Not remote, must work from 411 Allan Street location
