Fulcrum Group is looking for a Business Development and Partnerships Intern to join our team. You will work closely with our team on identifying and building relationships within the Events Industry. The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker who knows how to pitch our portfolio of brands to major players in the events world. Cultivating and fostering professional relationships must be something that you are passionate about. Most importantly, you're enthusiastic and hungry to learn.
This is an internship with a commitment of 16-20 hours per week starting in June 2022 and lasting for 10 weeks. We're looking for someone who is currently enrolled in an academic program or has recently graduated.
Responsibilities
Develop creative marketing materials to send to clients and provide venues during meetings
Actively monitor events trends, new venues openings, and upcoming large-scale events in the Bay Area
Work closely with our head of Strategic Partnerships on customer type analysis
Produce internal emails to update Fulcrum Group team on venue profile creation
Keep tabs on industry competitors and exclusive venue partnerships
Requirements
Pursuing a degree in a relevant area of academic study
Familiarity with Canva and other relevant software/programs
Can distill complex business ideas into easy-to-understand content
Ability to create concise and informative marketing materials
Interested in the events industry
Willing to commute to our headquarters in Daly City, CA on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Pay: $500 per month stipend and lunches when in the office
